The Dou Li shape (斗笠) is a timeless classic resembling a traveler's hat, but here it takes on the look of a sun disc gathering light.
The bowl's entire surface is covered with perfectly even rows of small relief squares resembling pixels or the weave of fine chainmail, creating a look both austere and elegant.
The geometric pattern makes light bounce off the bowl at crisp angles, creating a constant shimmer, as if the bowl were woven from golden threads.
Holding the bowl, you feel every millimeter of this "grid" — a pleasant, calming sensation.
The inner surface is smooth and glossy as usual, letting you enjoy the play of color of your favorite tea against a golden background.
