Mangua Ceramic Chahai (Fairness Pitcher), 200 ml

The «Mangua» ceramic chahai (fairness pitcher), 200 ml, features the «Grey Ice Glaze» pattern: a fine white glaze with delicate flowers on a blue ground.

A chahai is used to evenly pour tea between cups and to stop steeping at the right moment — a traditional element of the Chinese tea ceremony.

Hand-painted work gives the piece a special charm and turns tea time into an aesthetic ritual.
