About this product

Bi Luo Chun is a hand-tied blooming tea ball with dried flowers and fruit pieces: a rich aroma of flower gardens and a soft fruity taste with a hint of sweetness.

Bi Luo Chun (碧螺春), literally "Emerald Spirals of Spring," is one of the most poetic teas of China. According to legend, the tea was named by Emperor Kangxi himself, who was captivated by its delicate aroma and unusual shape.

This tea is picked in early spring in the mountains, where tea gardens border orchards of peach, apricot and mandarin trees. Each ball is hand-tied from young leaves together with dried flowers and pieces of fruit, so it unfurls in warm water into a one-of-a-kind floral-fruit bouquet.
