Sichabei Ru Yao Celadon Tea Tasting Cup, Sky Blue, 75 ml

The name of this cup, Sichabei, literally translates as "a bowl for reflection and zen." Its restrained shape and hue echo the aesthetics of ancient China, where every detail of tea ware helped find inner harmony.

About the Ru Yao glaze

• Form philosophy: the cup is shaped to help you focus on the present moment during tea drinking, letting the aroma unfold more fully.
• Enamel with agate: the glaze contains natural agate, creating a crystal-clear, jade-like surface that feels pleasantly cool to the touch.
• Sky Blue color: a classic sky-blue tone recreated after more than 1000 tests — a symbol of the sky's clarity after rain, both delicate and composed.
• Demanding firing process: the piece is made using a water-firing technique at 1350°C, and due to the process's complexity the finished-product yield is only 17%, making every cup a rare collectible.
• Gold rim: a refined gold finish along the edge highlights the nobility of the Ru porcelain and adds extra value to the piece.
