Sloviansk Endurance Chawan Bowl, 550 ml

This is our pride. Pride in our unbreakable people. This chawan stands as a true witness to the spirit of the Ukrainian potters of Sloviansk.

A story of endurance

• Trial by fire: shelling cut the power supply, so the bowls stood in a red-hot kiln for more than 20 hours
• Limited series: only 41 pieces survived out of the whole batch
• Unique shape: because of the extreme firing conditions the bowls are not perfectly round, and in places even oval
• Function: the altered shape is a visual trait and does not affect how the bowl works

We are endlessly grateful to our remarkable ceramicists, who keep creating despite everything.
