The 'Sunset in the Mountains' piala is a refined accessory for evening tea, carved from a solid block of red jade (Wanxia Hong).
The stone has a rich orange-red hue with a distinctive grainy texture reminiscent of sunlight breaking through mountains.
The classic round chawan shape, with a rim diameter of 9.5 cm, balances aesthetics and function. Hand polishing gives the surface a soft matte sheen that feels pleasant to the touch.
As tea steeps, the stone reveals its depth, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere for the session.
