Gaiwan Four Noble Animals, Silver-Coated Porcelain, 150 ml

A 150 ml gaiwan from the Four Noble Animals series. The bowl brings together the four Chinese zodiac guardians: the Dragon of the East, the Tiger of the West, the Tortoise of the North and the Phoenix of the South — four sacred beasts named in the Chinese classic book of rites and known across the cultural sphere of East Asia.

The material is porcelain finished with silver. The yellow-and-blue painting follows the traditional Chinese style and looks striking on any tea table.

• Volume: 150 ml
